Jerry Jaeger April 9, 1940 – September 3, 2015

Jerry Jaeger served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Foundations In Genesis and served as a board member for 16 years, since its inception. Jerry always had a message of hope and confidence for all who would lend an ear. His all encompassing smile, compassionate heart and foundational wisdom were attributes he received from God and Jerry used them diligently and evangelically to share the truth of a Creator and the need for salvation. He was very passionate about creation and attended many excursions to study and teach others about creation. He traveled around the United States and abroad marveling at the wonders and intricacies proving the flood. He read everything he could get his hands on and debated with others on many topics.

Jerry was a dairy farmer and was on the board of Dairymen’s Creamery Association for 25 years.   He was very active in Gideons International and Foundations In Genesis proclaiming his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was also active in supporting Shiloh Bible Conference and camp ministries. He was also one of the founders of Rodeo Bible Camp in Idaho. He also served as a Bible teacher, and an elder, and served God in many capacities at Cambridge Bible Church for many years.

Jerry Jaeger was a man of God, a faithful husband of 55 years, a brother, a father, a grandfather, and great grandfather. He prayed hard, worked hard, and gave of himself just as hard. His one hobby was flying and he enjoyed giving rides to everyone, but he really loved giving rides to his grandchildren just to hear them giggle with joy as they felt “weightless.”

He loved his Savior and strived to serve him in all aspects of his life. He firmly believed in the verse (Proverbs 22:6)  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

As a result, he first worked at this with his own children and later was active in AWANA. Jerry  loved studying creation and sharing the science of God’s creation with anyone who would listen. His love of God and his desire to serve God has been passed on to his children, his grand children and the multitudes of others whose lives were touched by him.

Isaiah 55:11
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;

It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
