Privacy Policy

1. Definitions

This Privacy Policy covers how Foundations in Genesis of Idaho, Inc., known hereafter as “Organization”, processes the information from “Visitors,” who may be known hereafter as “you,” on its website, www.foundationsingenesis.org, known hereafter as “Website.” WordPress is the website host and builder that was used to make Organization’s website.

2. Information Website Collects

  1. WordPress Information. When you visit Organization’s Website, anonymous information about you and/or your computer system and network connection may be gathered by WordPress, the hosting platform for the Website. Please see the WordPress privacy policy and privacy notice for details about how they process that and any additional information.
  2. Visitor Information. You may provide the following information to Organization when you fill out a form or sign up for a field trip:
    • Your Name
    • Your Email
    • Your Phone Number
    • The names and ages of those in your party
  1. Payment Information. Visitors may choose to donate financially to Organization. Any credit card or payment information provided by Visitor during the donation process is not stored on Organization’s Website, but is instead securely transmitted to and hosted on Stripe’s servers as described in their Privacy Policy. How payment information is handled is described in WordPress’ Privacy Policy and Privacy Notice, and Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

Please note that when you make a donation on the Website’s donation page, WordPress will prompt you to create a WordPress account. You can manage your donation receipts or other purchases through your WordPress account.

3. How Website Uses Your Information

Website uses Visitor information in the following ways:

  1. Providing Services. Organization uses your information to provide you with information and resources about upcoming events and field trips. Organization also uses your information to put you on the attendance roster for a field trip or other activity.

4. Sharing Information

Organization does not share Visitor information with third parties, except as is described in the WordPress Privacy Policy and Privacy Notice.

5. Retention of Information

Organization retains Visitor information for as long as is needed to provide service to you. If you would like to unsubscribe from all email communications from Organization, please let us know on this unsubscribe page. If you would like to unsubscribe from certain emails, you may manage your subscription preferences in your WordPress account.

6. Information Security

Nothing online is completely secure, but Organization and Website take reasonable steps to ensure Visitor information is protected, as does WordPress. Visitors are responsible for limiting sensitive data they share when they submit a form or communicate with Organization.

7. Deletion of Your Information

You may request that Organization delete any information Organization has about you at any time. Please email info@foundationsingenesis.org to resolve that.

8. Changes to Privacy Policy

Website’s Privacy Policy is subject to change, so please check in regularly for any updates.
